October 7: You have 1/2 hour of class time to complete egg drop building. If you need more time than that plan on using some week-end time or before or after school study hall time.
Optional work for the week-end: Choose one of the following: Finish writing your blog about the quote on page 81. Work on your land and water presentation. Work on your Egg Glog. Work on your egg crate.
Language Arts: Today students had time to begin a blog entry about the quote "The best kids are the worst liars." We will follow up this discussion on Monday and students will have some class time to finish blog work.
Science: Today we spent some time working on creating a reflective glog re:egg drop. Students received their glog accounts and have begun using "egg" words to write about their "eggsperience" using the scientific method during the egg drop competition.
Social Studies: Today students were working on their land and water presentation finding real-life examples of various landforms. They are honing their technology skills to make this happen.
Egg Drop: We are currently finishing up the egg drop and are looking forward to the competition on Tuesday.
